...aaaaaand SCENE. The shows of 2009 ended with a bang at the Irvine Improv, where everybody had a great time between buying gift cards and chocolate. Thanks to everybody who came to the shows, including old friends and new. Many people, even some of Cowboy Tommy's Saddle Pals, came for the umpteenth time to a show and I appreciate the laughter, good cheer, and support more than I can say. My old comedy buddies Steve Oedekerk and Jim Hope came out to see me, as well as the undisputed king of Laguna Beach, Greg Carpenter, who runs Boopsie dot com, the future of technology as we all know it. I can't explain how it's the future, but that's what he told me, so we'll go with that, since I can barely make a cel phone call.

Amigo, you were on fire! Good time had by all. I'm not sure the last time COW was all together. Oh, yea - CO, OW, CW, but never the full COW. Udderly fantastico.
We caught the Sunday show in Irvine. Great to see a packed house! Thanks for doing a show we knew we could take our son to. We came, we saw, we bought the DVD. Looking forward to the umpteen-and-oneth (???) time next year.
Thanks for the seemingly never ending source of funny. Somehow we need to convince you to come to Alaska for a few shows...!
Hey, Tom! My wife, our friends and I saw you at the Irvine Improv and man oh man! You are one funny guy! There is absolutely no question about that. And to make up on the fly stuff that funny that's also clean, that requires real talent.
I'm also the guy that tried in vain to get you to sign my Back to the Future DVD. After telling me your stand on that, you were nice enough to give me two hugs and a picture instead. Thank you for that. I've read your FAQ's and I think I see where you're coming from -- you're sick of hearing about Back to the Future and Biff and being asked Michael. I get it, believe me, I get your point of view. But I don't agree with it. I don't know precisely what made you divorce BTTF but everyone LOVES Biff and if you would just embrace that iconic character you created, you would make a lot of people very happy. The fact that Biff is such a jerk and you're such a nice guy shows your talent! And some of us - like myself - collect autographs for their own private collection. The fact is, I WAS trying to get everyone to sign my DVD or poster.
Anyway, your decision is obviously years in the making but I just wanted you to know how I feel. Either way, I do plan to see you again when you're in Southern California again.
Thanks for the laughs, Tom!
